meet&match Terms and Conditions (Effective date: 24/09/2024)

By purchasing a ticket to any event hosted by meet&match, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions. 

1. About Us

meet&match is an events company that specializes in creating social opportunities for single individuals. Our events aim to facilitate introductions between attendees.

2. Registration and Personal Information

During the registration process, attendees are required to provide certain details to build their profile. 

meet&match does not verify the accuracy of this information and bears no responsibility for its correctness. We encourage you to be honest when filling in your profile. 

3. Data Protection

4. Gender Balance for Heterosexual Events

For heterosexual events, meet&match strives to maintain a balanced ratio of male and female attendees, though we cannot guarantee an exact match.

5. Event Cancellations

If we are forced to cancel an event due to unforeseen circumstances, we will issue a credit voucher equivalent to the value of your original ticket. Refunds are not provided for cancellations or venue changes.

When it comes to attendees, cancellations made more than 48 hours before the event will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event are non-refundable.

6. Changes to Event Venues

In the rare case that a venue change is necessary, we will notify attendees as soon as possible using the contact details provided (usually by email). Any alternative venue will be within a reasonable distance from the original location, and the event’s start time will remain the same.

7. Code of Conduct

We have a zero-tolerance policy for any behavior deemed offensive, abusive, or disruptive. Guests displaying such behavior will be asked to leave without refund. Our venues work with us to enforce this policy.

8. Late Arrivals

It is your responsibility to check in with the event host at the scheduled start time. If you arrive late, admission will be at the host’s discretion, and no refund or credit will be offered for late arrivals. We encourage attendees to arrive on time to enjoy the full experience and to avoid disturbing the event.

9. Event Safety

We advise that attendees exercise the same caution when meeting new people at our events as they would in any other social setting. While we provide a platform for introductions, your safety and wellbeing remain your responsibility.

10. Liability Waiver

By attending our events, you agree that meet&match s not liable for any injuries, damage to personal belongings, or other incidents that may occur during or as a result of your attendance at our events.

11. Photography and Videography

From time to time, we may take photos or record videos during our events for marketing purposes. Your event host will notify you if this is happening, and you will have the opportunity to opt out. Unless you withdraw consent, you agree that meet&match may use any images or videos for promotional purposes.

12. Emotional and Physical Wellbeing

meet&match assumes no responsibility for any emotional distress, physical harm, or negative experiences that may result from interactions with other attendees before, during, or after one of our events.
